Kim Letizia to Lead Culinary Innovation at Culver's

PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis. - March 25, 2013 - Kim Letizia has joined the Midwest-based Culver's restaurant chain as Director of Menu Development and Executive Chef.

 

Kim comes to Wisconsin after holding the position of Director of Culinary Innovation and Menu Strategy at Cosi Inc. She has also worked with numerous chain concepts, including Culver's, on menu development and innovation as a Business Development and Culinary Consultant for Kraft Foods. "I've always admired the Culver's brand having been involved with the chain as a guest and as a supplier partner and now I've come full-circle as a team member," says Kim. "It's a great feeling to be part of a unique, engaging and inspiring culture with leaders who really care." She has over 15 years of experience working with some of the top consumer packaged goods companies and restaurant chains on menu and product innovation including Barilla and Sargento.

Kim plans to build off of the success of Culver's core menu items to satisfy guests' ever-changing pallets. "Our guests' tastes are constantly evolving and we have new generations of guests who are looking for bolder and different flavors. My hope is that we continue the Culver's tradition of creating a great dining experience in all that we offer and for everyone we serve while continuing to push the envelope on innovation."

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Arts and an MBA in Global Business Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism, Marketing, both from Johnson & Wales University, RI.
