Culver's Restaurants Coming to Georgia in 2016

PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis. - October 28, 2015 - The Midwest-based Culver's restaurant chain is coming to Georgia. Ground is being broken in Dawsonville, 252 South 400 Center Lane, approximately 60 miles north of Atlanta and should be open in early 2016. Other locations are planned for the Peach State but are in the very early planning stages. Specific locations and timelines are to be determined.
Culver's is an expanding fast-casual franchise chain with over 550 independently owned and operated restaurants in 22 states. The restaurants' award-winning customer service is based on small-town, Midwestern values, genuine friendliness and an unwavering commitment to quality and cleanliness. Signature items include the ButterBurger®, (from the lightly buttered bun) made from fresh, never frozen U.S. beef, and fresh Frozen Custard, including the famous Flavor of the Day program.
Tapasvi Jaiswal and business partner Manish Shah will be the owner/operators of the restaurant. Tapasvi was introduced to Culver's in 2001 while working for a software company that supported Culver's restaurants. He persuaded Manish to join him in this new venture.
The roots of Culver's can be found in a small southern Wisconsin community of Sauk City. Thirty-one years ago, Craig Culver and his family opened their first restaurant surrounded by farms that produced the dairy products and grew the food. Restaurants had been a way of life for the Culver's, previously owning and running several supper clubs. In 1984 they converted a former A&W root beer stand and christened it "Culver's Frozen Custard and ButterBurgers." Today this organization is passionate about providing, great service, great-tasting, hand-crafted, cooked-to-order-food and an environment that is genuine and respectful of team members and guests. Then, as now, the Culver's chose to use only the freshest ingredients, prepared each meal exactly to a guest's order and delivered it to their table with a welcoming smile.
