Organizing a fundraiser can be quite the task. Luckily, the South Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) experienced smooth sailing when they held a Share Night at their local Culver’s. The organization got the idea for the fundraiser after seeing other groups raising money with the help of Culver’s of Crystal Lake, IL.

The PTO organized the Share Night to raise funds for school events and field trips, and it was a success. Parents and teachers helped out by delivering orders to guests’ tables, and the restaurant donated a percentage of the night’s sales to the organization in return. PTO President Sarah Fier was impressed with how well the restaurant ran the fundraiser. “The management and employees were amazing,” she said.

“The students loved seeing their teachers serve them dinner!”

The group raised $815 during the Share Night. Fier said the event was a hit with the parents and teachers working the fundraiser, and the students and families who visited Culver’s that night. “We are very much looking forward to hosting another fundraiser with Culver’s,” said Fier.
