We joined more than 60,000 FFA members at the 88th Annual FFA Convention & Expo in Louisville, Kentucky to celebrate the future of agriculture — and let us tell you, it’s a bright one.
The week kicked off with the Wednesday Night Concert Culver’s sponsored, featuring Jake Owen with Maddie & Tae. FFA students work tirelessly throughout the year to build a successful future for agriculture, so it was our treat to be able to celebrate all their hard work with a night of boot-stomping, hand-clapping, sing-along fun.
We met up with the winner of the Culver’s FFA Essay Contest, Haley Hampton, and 20 members from her FFA chapter who were all smiles after receiving $10,000 to help support their road trip from Mackay, ID, to Louisville. The convention was the highlight of the chapter’s 12-day, 15-state road trip that included agricultural tours, park visits and, of course, a stop at Culver’s.
We also had the opportunity to sponsor the Milk Quality and Products Career Development Event. At this event, FFA students work together to demonstrate their knowledge of the production and processing of milk and dairy products.
