As you cruise through the Midwest, a bright blue barn might just pop into view – standing tall as a way to thank the farmers behind the foods we eat every day. These bold, bright blue barns display a message that's extra-close to our hearts: "Thank You, Farmers.”
Since 2013, the Thank You Farmers® Project has been our way of expressing gratitude and providing support for the farmers who grow the fresh ingredients we serve in our restaurants every day. Together with our guests, we’ve raised over $6.5 million to support the future of agriculture since 2013.
Every meal we serve is rooted in the dedication and hard work of our local farmers. From the farm-fresh dairy in our Fresh Frozen Custard to the real Wisconsin cheese in our ooey-gooey Cheese Curds, our menu items wouldn't be the same without the farmers that produce the ingredients we serve in our restaurants each and every day.
Gratitude in Every Brushstroke
To show our gratitude in a big way, we launched a series of hand-painted blue barns across the Midwest. Each one features a message of sincere thanks to the farmers who make our food possible. The Blue Barns are just one visible way we show our gratitude – and the message of thanks continues to spread with each new barn.
